We were almost left with no car to rent due to greediness of the first rental company and was informed last minute about an increase in the cost. We were then almost left with no room to stay for two nights because the booking company got the wrong year. Worst – LIMA was on the same week- one of the biggest airshow that happens every two years so meaning, super PEAK SEASON in Langkawi

But thanks to the kindness of Todd + Nicola who made us feel better and the help of the Four Seasons’s wedding planner, Jessie, who helped put a roof over our head. We are blessed to always be surrounded by kind hearted people . Thank You!

Now the good experience…

I like to award Todd for having the most organized schedule I’ve ever seen so far in my line of work! He is so easy to work with and is open to ideas and even making a few changes to the schedule to accommodate our ideas. We truly appreciate such kindness and openness

Nikki – she made me LMFAOShe is like a cartoon; very animated, high spirited and full of pure emotions!

Throughout the day, you can see how much Todd+Nikki are very loved by their families and friends. The touching speeches, the happy tears, the laughters, the love-  these are the reasons why I love wedding photography. This was the song both the newly-weds walked out of the church after they were officially pronounced husband + wife

A different cultural, a different language…. it didn’t stop me. This is my first Polish wedding I’ve captured and I am definitely looking forward for more to come. It was a wonderful experience and a great pleasure to shoot this wedding. I met Mateusz and Ania last year during my first visit to Poland. Little did I know they were getting married this year and after some discussions and showing them my work, I was booked.

I admit I was terrified of course but I love the challenges. I was briefed on the schedule and also I have friends and family of theirs to explain to me what was going on which was very very lovely and helpful.

I started off at their home where the make up session begins. Ania had to go to the saloon to get her hair done so I started roaming around their very lovely home and started photographing all the details (except Ania’s gown which was in her parent’s home) and the make up session with Ania’s mother, sister and maid of honor and also the groom getting ready. It all happens so fast with zero time for any portrait sessions before, after and during the ceremony and reception. It was a crazy day running around but the wedding was full of fun, happiness, love and craziness at the photobooth! Yes, there’s a wedding photobooth with some funky props!

The wedding invitation card was DIY by Mateusz himself. He is a storyboard artist and his work is so beautiful!!

My jaw literally drop wide open when I saw Ania’s headpiece. I LOVE LOVE LOVE birdcage veil!!

My favourite shot of the day, a very sweet moment with Ania’s uncle & grandma which reminds me to ask if anyone have a grandma & grandpa who can’t shower enough love for each other and would love for me to photograph them? I’ll say YES to you!!

He is the coolest priest I’ve ever met in my whole life!! Full of warm lovely smiles and the best, he gave me the permission to roam freely, anywhere in the church including on the altar!

It was a pretty gloomy day with light showers but during the ceremony, the sun decided to come out for awhile and wish these two lovely couples it’s warmth G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S light!

Throwing rice at the newly weds was something common at a wedding but they threw coins at the newly weds too! Now that is something new to me! Any weddings culture that throws paper money? I’ll love to marry in your place

This was something different for me as well. It is common in a Polish wedding that after the ceremony ends, guest will queue up to give flowers, hugs and 3 kisses on the newly weds cheeks.

Ania’s mother & daddy… it made me go Awwwwwwwwww……………….!!

MAJOR C.U.T.E.N.E.S.S!! I had a wonderful portrait session with Baby Helena and her mummy, Magda in Warsaw, Poland. His daddy was suppose to join the session but due to him having to work long hours for a TV series and I had to leave to Malaysia days after therefore, we had a mini session with just Baby Helena and Magda

I couldn’t stop laughing when I saw this transparent dummy. It’s soooooo cuteeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

Looking back at these photos or any other photos I’ve shot, it makes my heart tickles and makes me smile. I’m so happy to see so much love from one human to the other. Love & happiness are the most beautiful emotions…it makes one happy & selfless
